What Is Your Passion

Years back in primary school, I loved reading and writing stories. Anyone who knew me then would attest to that. I would go out of my way to save money to buy novels. My father knowing this, bought me several novels and magazines and this really deepened my love for reading and writing. I started writing and each time I wrote a piece; I would post on the school’s notice board for all to read. Little did I know that I had won the attention and admiration of so many pupils, who eagerly yet patiently anticipated my next post on the notice board.

In no time, I became a popular jingo, famous throughout the school for my funny yet interesting articles, until I moved on to secondary school. While in secondary school, I upgraded my passion and started a magazine which I sold and made good money off. My siblings were instrumental as my editorial team and for us it was a fun filled experience for all of us while it lasted. (Laughs)

Having completed my course in the University of Lagos, I found myself eventually working in media and publication firms and till date I am still doing what I love most.

The learning behind my story is ultimately the need to invest in one’s passion because only through perseverance and faith in God, can one attain fulfillment. So what is your Passion?
