Uzor Arukwe Tells Single Ladies: Self-Development Is the Real Attraction

Cookey Mba
Popular Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has advised single women to prioritize self-development and establish themselves before aspiring to marry a wealthy and caring man

The actor gave the advice while reacting to social media praises for his character Odogwu, a compassionate billionaire lover in the film Love In Every World 2. Many fans had described Odogwu as their “ideal man,” sparking widespread admiration online.

Arukwe noted that the character Chioma, played by reality star Bambam, was already a valuable and industrious woman before her lover began supporting her. According to him, the billionaire’s respect for Chioma stemmed from her own sense of purpose and hard work.

He emphasized that men of value are naturally drawn to women who have built themselves up, urging ladies to invest in their personal growth and not rely solely on a partner’s wealth or influence.

Sharing his thoughts on X (formerly Twitter), Arukwe wrote:

“While we are basking in our delulu, it’s important to remember that Odogwu saw Chioma as a valuable woman before throwing his full weight to support her. He didn’t even need to ask what she brings to the table because it was clear she’s an industrious woman. So as a woman, build value for yourself first, and your Odogwu will locate you to become your helpmate that makes everything easier to handle.”

The actor’s post has since stirred conversations online, with many fans applauding his message on the importance of self-worth and personal development in relationships.
