It was glitzy and glamorous occasion as the Canadian based medical practitioner, Dr Anthony Agugua tied the nuptial knot with his heartthrob, Thelma Obianauju Nkwogu on January 3, 2023, at St. Anthony Mary Claret Catholic Parish in Owerri, Imo State.
The wedding proper kicked off when the lovebirds affirmed their love with holy solemnisation. It was a sweet ceremony. The highest point of the occasion was when the couple said “I do”, exchanged rings and shared a first kiss. This elicited cheers and applause from all corners of the church especially the elated parents of the bride. The ceremony was attended by close family, friends and well wishers.
The second phase of the occasion took place at the De -Juan Event Place, as guests were invited to take their seats in the main banquet hall and treated to a cocktail reception. There were some speeches, which added spice to the event, meals ranging from local delicacies to continental dishes were served and finally the cutting of the cake by the lovely couple.
The formal ceremony ended with guests partying till late into the night.
