*Community Insists Body Must Be Buried Beside The River As Tradition Demands
Nollywood has been thrown into mourning following the sad demise of Nollywood actor, Junior Pope.
The actor and three of his colleagues were coming back from a movie location in a boat when the boat capsized on Anam River in Anambra State.
A few hours earlier, the actor shared a video of himself shot yesterday in a boat and praying frantically to arrive at his destination safely. The accident unfortunately occured on his way back from the location today the 10th of April, 2024.
All the bodies have since been recovered.
Information reaching us, has it that the community is insisting that the late actor must be buried beside the River Niger as tradition demands.
The actor died at the age 39 and is survived by his wife and three children.
