Brandy and Monica, the iconic R&B titans behind the 1998 chart-topping hit “The Boy Is Mine,” have officially announced their first-ever co-headlining tour named after the legendary single titled The Boy Is Mine Tour, featuring special guests Kelly Rowland, Muni Long and “American Idol” winner Jamal Roberts.
The 24-city arena run will kick off on October 16 in Cincinnati, stops on the tour include Atlanta, Los Angeles and Brooklyn and wrap up in Houston on December 7.
The reunion marks a powerful moment in R&B history, as Brandy and Monica have had a complicated relationship over the years but have continued to collaborate, most recently earning a Grammy nomination for their remix with Ariana Grande.
“This really is a full-circle moment,” Brandy said, while Monica added that the tour celebrates their shared legacy, growth, and the unwavering love from their fans. Presale begins June 26, with general tickets available starting June 27 at 10 a.m. local time.
