INPA To Launch ₦200 Million Printing Hub November 27

The Imo Newspaper Publishers Association (INPA) will host its maiden Publishers’ Week from Monday, November 24 to Sunday, November 30, 2025, with preparations already in advanced stages.

A major feature of the weeklong event will be a fundraising dinner for the establishment of a ₦200 million Printing Hub, designed to enhance the efficiency and productivity of member publications across the state.

According to the programme of activities released by the Planning Committee, the event will begin with a radio talk show on Monday, November 24. An awareness campaign is scheduled for Wednesday, November 26, while a lecture and fundraising dinner will take place on Thursday, November 27, at the main hall of Rockview Hotel, Government House Station Layout, Owerri.

The week will conclude with a Thanksgiving Mass at Maria Assumpta Catholic Church, Owerri, on Sunday, November 30.

Chairman of the Planning Committee and Publisher of The Big Truth Newspaper, Sir Modestus Nwamkpa, said the ₦200 million Printing Hub would mark a major milestone in the growth of the local newspaper industry.

He expressed appreciation to the people of Imo State for their continued patronage of home-based publications and urged political leaders, business executives, and other stakeholders to sustain their partnership with the state’s media community.
