Bishop David Abioye, Founder of the Conquerors Global Assembly, has revealed that his wife was once diagnosed with HIV during the COVID-19 pandemic but was later declared free of the virus after prayers and further medical examination.
Speaking during a Sunday live service while teaching on healing, Bishop Abioye said he immediately rejected the initial diagnosis and turned to faith and scriptural revelations for divine intervention.
“During COVID-19, they said my wife had HIV. I said, ‘No, not in this body,’” the cleric recounted. “I got a scriptural revelation that says, ‘The prince of this world came to check me and found nothing,’ so I asked them to run the test again.”
According to him, after prayers and another round of tests, doctors confirmed that “they couldn’t find anything there.”
Emphasizing the importance of standing firm in faith, Bishop Abioye added, “Healing is not for gentlemen. You don’t nurse sickness to go, you fight sickness to go.”
