14th Anniversary: INPA Honours Uzodinma, Others

The prestigious Main Hall of Rockview Hotel, Owerri, Imo State, will come alive on Thursday, November 27, 2025, as the Imo Newspaper Publishers Association (INPA) marks its 14th anniversary with a grand celebration.

At the ceremony, the association will honour ten distinguished Nigerians for their contributions to society.

Topping the list of recipients is the Executive Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, who will receive the Grand Patron Award of the association.

Also to be honoured is Ezinwa Stanley Amuchie, who will double as the event’s keynote speaker. Amuchie, the Executive Director and Chief Information Officer at Fidelity Bank Plc, is expected to deliver a keynote address titled “Diverse Financing Options for Capacity Building in the Print Media.”

Other awardees include Chief Ejike Lucky Chukwu, CEO of Megadrill Oil and Gas Limited; Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu (Samdaddy), National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP); Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, former Chief of Staff, Government House, Owerri; Rt. Hon. Miriam Onuoha and Hon. Canice Moore Nwachukwu (Omeogo), both members of the House of Representatives.

Rounding off the honouree list are High Chief Mike Ejiogu (Onowu of Igboland); Prince Dr. Alex Mbata, Chairman of ABM Group; and Dr. Chijioke Kaduru, a public health specialist.

The event will also feature the formal inauguration of INPA’s N200 million Media Resource Centre, a milestone project aimed at advancing media development in the state.
