Popular social media influencer VeryDarkMan, widely known as VDM, has reacted to claims by reality TV star Phyna, who described him as a “Very Dirty Boy” and accused him of playing a role in the breakdown of her relationship with actress Iyabo Ojo.
Phyna had earlier alleged that her association with VeryDarkMan contributed significantly to the strain between her and Iyabo Ojo.
In a detailed public response, VDM expressed disappointment over the accusation, insisting that his support for Phyna was genuine and never driven by personal interest. He explained that he consistently stood by the former reality star at different stages of her career, including reposting promotions for her movies and offering guidance on both personal and professional matters.
According to him, he remained accessible whenever Phyna reached out—whether for advice, paid promotional support, or assistance with family-related concerns—often listening and offering help without expecting anything in return.
VDM further questioned what he personally stood to gain from the relationship, stressing that his actions were rooted in loyalty and goodwill rather than self-benefit.
Reflecting on past controversies, the influencer suggested that greed and certain personal choices eventually put a strain on the relationship. He added that several individuals who once supported and promoted Phyna have since withdrawn, especially as public interest in her declined.
Despite the disagreement, VeryDarkMan struck a conciliatory tone, stating that he harbours no bitterness and genuinely wishes Phyna success in her future endeavours.
