By Tricia Iwuoha

As the 2027 electoral cycle approaches, the people of Okigwe North Federal Constituency spanning Isiala Mbano, Onuimo, and Okigwe Local Government Areas stand at a pivotal crossroads. After decades of yearning for effective representation, a transformative leader has emerged. Kelechi Benwosely Esimogu, a dynamic “Amazon” of modern leadership, is ready to bridge the gap between the grassroots and the national grid.

A Multi-Faceted Trailblazer

Kelechi is not just a candidate; she is a solution. Her profile is a rare blend of professional brilliance and spiritual depth. As a seasoned administrator, cleric, nurse, broadcaster, and humanitarian, she possesses the “right temperament” and cultural intelligence to advocate for her people in the Green Chamber.

Currently serving as the Technical Adviser on the National Smart AI-Powered WhatsApp Response Initiative (Office of the SAP-ICT to the President), she is at the forefront of Nigeria’s digital evolution. Her strategic contributions to the NDDC and her role in decentralizing the National Cybercrime Centre prove she understands the complexities of governance and regional development.

Proven Impact Beyond Politics

Long before seeking elective office, Kelechi has been a beacon of hope in Okigwe North. Her leadership is defined by action, not just promises:

  • Infrastructure: Using personal resources and connections to install high-powered solar streetlights in Umuenyi, Isiala Mbano.
  • Empowerment: In December alone, she empowered over 300 indigent women, demonstrating her commitment to poverty alleviation.
  • Humanitarianism: Through “Women on Mission for Peace and Humanity,” she provides scholarships to orphans and vocational training to widows, ensuring the vulnerable are not left behind.

Global Education & Local Insight

Kelechi’s intellectual capacity is world-class, ensuring she can stand toe-to-toe with any legislator globally. Her academic journey includes:

  • Leadership & Conflict Resolution: Oxford University (2025).
  • Specialised Training: Harvard University (AI), University of Toronto (Communications), and the Anderson School of Journalism (USA).
  • Professional Roots: A degree in Nursing (RN) from Madonna University and a current LLB in Law to strengthen her legislative and policy-making expertise.

A Vision for the “Green Chamber”

As the Chief Editor of The Raw Truth and a seasoned broadcaster, Kelechi is a master communicator who knows how to amplify the voices of the silenced. Her experience in the 2019 APC Presidential Campaign Field Office gave her the “boots-on-the-ground” experience needed to mobilize and deliver results.

Why Kelechi Benwosely Esimogu?

Okigwe North deserves more than just a seat at the table; it deserves a voice that commands respect. Kelechi brings:

  1. Technological Innovation: To bring 21st-century jobs to the youth.
  2. Administrative Excellence: To ensure constituency projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  3. Compassionate Governance: To continue her lifelong mission of uplifting the downtrodden.
